Little Wars AAR

All went well at LW. We played Napoleon's Battles as originally planned, but dropped Blitzkrieg Commander for lack of interest (i.e. no one replied to the post, so the game was dropped from the schedule). Quatre Bras was the scenario played: Scott and Kevin were the French side, while Kyle and I were the Allies. Long story short, we got our arses kicked thoroughly. Aside from this embarrassing ass-whooping from the French, one of the Allie commanders was carrying on with his usual whining (compliments of Sir Kyle); to which Le General de Division, Erdo (Scott), countered with some generous portion cheesy maneuvers; one might say, "a very generous display of cheese and wine." I did notice some problems with the scenario, which was designed for a 3' x 3' rather than 4' x 4' playing area. We plan on making a precise foam-terrain-board that's 3' x 3' for this scenario. It's really an excellent scneario; very tough for the Allies, but one that woul yield tremendous bragging rights for the Allies if they manage to win. In short, we plan to game this one several more times. All in all, we all had a good time (inspite the AC being on fritz). Hope to see you all at Gathering of the Tribes, June 30th at Little Wars. cheers, Justo www.KingwoodWarGamers.com
